We explore an art deco building with a great lobby
Full of 1930s detail
An inner balcony oversees the lobby
The Navy Mural, painted in 1975, adorns this lobby
We are in the semi-circle building at lower right, one of the few buildings still standing from the International Exposition of 1935
Exterior of this building, now used for a couple of offices and some "Rent" movie production offices
Intriguing control room on top.
The relief sculpture on the building shows a man holding an airplane; original location of SanFran airport was here on Treasure Island, but later deemed too small.
Perhaps they kept this building to be the Control Tower/Airport Concourse?
We return to The City. Note the extreme turns on the sign above the car
"You have already been here TWICE! There is NOTHING to steal. Peace."
