Excerpts from Australia Trip - April 2004
After leaving the Bridge's observation tower, we take a ferry to Topanga Zoo. Here's me and a koala.

We mingle with kangaroos at the Zoo
Sunday night King and I climb to the top of the Harbour Bridge - 134 meters above the water.
Yay, I survived climbing the bridge! Really a great experience, though I was nervous at first.
Monday morning we leave Sydney and arrive in Brisbane, here. Mainly we rest up from the exertions of Sunday.
On Tuesday, we take the pre-arranged tour bus to who-knows-where. First stop, the Big Pineapple.
The Big Pineapple also houses an exhibit of Pineapple History, important to Queensland.
You can take tours through the plantation, but we stuck around the giant pineapple.
A closeup of an exhibit inside the Big Pineapple, inadvertently showing in graphic detail the dangers of harvesting.
Our next stop - The Australia Zoo. Here's Steve Irwin (The Croc Hunter) playing with a crocodile.
We get to pet kangaroos - none seem to rap like they do in the movies.
Sign posted on Zoo fence, detailing various options available.
Here's a beautiful denizen of the Zoo. Oh, and there's a bird, too.
King utilizes a Bubbler.
Our next stop - the Super Bee Honey Factory.
The entirety of this stop was the Gift Shop, since the Demonstration never materialized before it was time to go.
Our next stop - Underwater World in Mooloolaba!
Among the features was a Travelator taking us through a tunnel within their Oceanarium tanks, which included large sharks.
We took in the Seals Show at Underwater World, then back on the bus!
