...with some excavation and a bare minimum of measurements
I re-used the cedar post and metal rod from the previous mailbox incarnation, digging out a hole about 7 inches deep
Early stages, as I consider the next stage (adding concrete)
I cut off a 12-inch-high section of form tube and braced it with back-filled dirt.
Yes, I did indeed use TWO 50-pound bags of quick-setting concrete for this post hole. This is for many generations to enjoy.
The finished mailbox...though I do need to add "113" to the post.

Harv and Trish and Emily return to Chattanooga for their friend Lydia's wedding in Atlanta
From left, Harv, the groom, the bride (Lydia), Trish, Emily
I even snuck in for a shot with the happy couple, not that they noticed nor knew who I was
As Trish is great with child, she's intent on eating for two

I think this was actually before the ceremony began. Or maybe just during a slow moment (prayer, vows, etc.)
Afterwards, I was unable to accurately guide us to Virginia Highlands (which King & Gwen will fully appreciate), and so settled for eating at Einstein's. Mmm, tilapia.
