The sidewalk along Riverfront Parkway is looking great
The stairway from Walnut Street Bridge still winds down to the amphitheater under the Parkway
Walnut Street Bridge, downtown Chattanooga, now a pedestrian bridge!
The gray part is the new west wing of Hunter Museum of American Art
They're also building a walking bridge to connect the museum with the Walnut St. Bridge
This new bridge has some overlooks
They're still building all this; everything is set to open in late April, early May of 2005!
Looks like the floor of the bridge is glass?
Yes, it's transparent, all right.
Lots of concrete used in this construction
The Hunter Museum is perched on a bluff overlooking the Tennessee River
Workin' on the new glass bridge
Sun shines brightly through the pedestrian panes
It really is a neat-looking bridge
Intriguing blockiness of this side of the addition
They're working feverishly to have everything finished in another month!
Looking back at Walnut St, Parkway, and down at Amphitheater
Walnut St Bridge was built around 1890, converted to pedestrian use around 1996
The front of the new wing is completely different from the sides
