    San Francisco 2006 The Macworld Expo is a frenzy of excitement. I did an initial walk-through today, doing some recon for areas I’d like to look at later.

    The 2006 Macworld Expo has kicked off with a bang! In Steve Jobs’ opening Keynote address, he presented the new Intel-based iMac, and the PowerBook-replacement: Intel-based MacBook Pro. Also, new iLife 2006. I’ll be heading down to the Exhibit Halls at Moscone Center in a few minutes to check out the cool new stuff.

    San Francisco 2006: Day 3 Today I wandered around downtown San Francisco, including the Embarcodero and the Cable Cars!

    Now I’m in Houston! Nice flight here. I’ll probably board the next plane in about 20 minutes.

  • Planesitting


    ok…curveball. Plane won’t be fixed for at least an hour… So Delta has rebooked me on Continental to Houston #2271 and then to SF on Continental #1428. I’m sitting on the plane now, and we’re about to take off!

  • Hanging at Lovell


    Well…I’m sitting here in the Chatt airport (emailing via my handy Treo) and they just announced they discovered a “maintenance problem” with the plane…so we may not be boarding at 6 pm EST as planned. Hopefully it’s no biggy… I have a good hour between connections. And no… I haven’t figured out where the commas…
